About the SBA
Smyrna Baptist Association provides a channel through which the churches of the association may fulfill the mission of reaching and discipling people in accordance with the beliefs, purposes and practices as found in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
Leadership
Mike Taylor serves as the Associational Missions Strategist for the Smyrna Baptist Association. He has been training leaders in Georgia for eleven years with the Georgia Baptist Mission Board in discipleship before moving to associational work. During his thirty-eight years in ministry, he has served churches in North Carolina, Arkansas, and Georgia as a Christian Educator. Mike has a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries from Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Barbara, and they have three married children Sharon, Brittany, and Andrew.
